2. Drop Outs: Teenagers who regularly smoke are twice as likely to drop out of school as they cannot handle depression easily. According to experts, Marijuana’s lasting effects on the brain impact both physical and mental health in teens.
3. Cognitive Impairment: Teenagers who smoke weed in chronic ways from their teenage years into adulthood have increased likelihood of developing cognitive impairment, reports indicate that though the exact reason is unknown, it however leads to decline in cognitive abilities, including memory and thinking loss.
4. Mental Disorder: Regular teenage smokers have double the risk of developing mental disorder like schizophrenia, especially if it is in their family history and they started the culture of smoking from adolescence.
5. Addiction To Harder and Illegal Drugs: Smoking is addictive. Teenagers who smoke marijuana are much more likely to use other harder and illegal drugs. They develop addiction for hard drugs like cocaine and heroine.
PS: Experts states that their is a strong link between smoking weed and the development of cardiovascular diseases in middle-aged adults, therefore teenagers who smoke weed may not die young but grow up to be adults whose brain are damaged.
